Shhh…🤫 We Know the SECRET To Finding DELICIOUS Desserts in Disney World!

Spring is in the air at Disney World, and it smells suspiciously like dessert… .

It smells good in here!

Oh wait, that’s just the smell of all the NEW seasonal treats that just arrived at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. That’s right, folks! The Grand Cottage is BACK for the season. In case you’re unfamiliar, Grand Cottage is an adorable pop-up treats shop that comes to the lobby of the Grand Floridian each spring, bringing us spring and Easter goodies that range from carrot cake to giant candy eggs. If you’ve got a sweet tooth or are simply looking for some Easter basket filler ideas, you’re gonna want to keep reading.

We just made our first Grand Cottage visit of the season, and let us tell you that it did NOT disappoint. We tried three of this year’s treats and decided to make a whole post to tell you all about them! Spoiler alert: our sweet tooth is definitely satisfied. BUT, let’s not get ahead of ourselves! Let’s try some food.

Look at these sweets!

First up, we tried the Lemon Blueberry Whoopie Pie for $8! This treat consists of a lemon-based whoopie pie with blueberry filling and a white chocolate Grand Floridian Medallion. Will it taste as good as it looks? Let’s find out!

Lemon Blueberry Whoopie Pie

Our first impression was that this dessert is VERY pretty!

Once we took a bite, we did notice that the lemon cookie was a bit dry, but the blueberry filling added some sweetness and moisture. While we did like the blueberry filling, the lemon whoopie pie was lacking. If you love lemon and blueberry, and don’t mind a bit of a drier texture, you’ll enjoy this one! We just wish it was a little more moist.

Next up, we tried the Milk Chocolate Bunny With M&Ms for $7! This treat is a hollow milk chocolate bunny filled with colorful M&Ms. WOW! How do we go about eating this bad boy in public? How do we subtly crack this thing open?

Okay, we knew this baby was gonna be good when we were able to easily cut into it with a plastic knife. No power tools were required for this treat. It did NOT disappoint!

This chocolate is super decadent — nice and smooth with the perfect amount of sweetness. The M&Ms were… well, M&Ms…. BUT overall, this is a delicious treat. This is a super fun snack and we recommend it to anyone who loves chocolate! It could also be a great snack for kids. However, if you prefer dark chocolate, you might wanna skip this one.

A wonderful sight

Last but not least, we tried the Confetti Cake Lamb Pop for $9.50! This is a lamb-shaped confetti cake pop with a dehydrated marshmallow coating. How cute is this?!

Our first impression, of course, is that this treat is ADORABLE. It also ended up being delicious. The cake was perfectly sweet and moist, and the confetti sprinkles were a great touch.

The marshmallow exterior is very similar to the marshmallows you’d find in Lucky Charms cereal. If you love those, this treat is for you! We found that they gave this treat a bit of a weird texture, but it really is left up to personal preference. If you love confetti cake and marshmallows in all forms, this is the treat for you. This is another kid-friendly dessert, too!
