Magic Kingdom
- Construction is still ongoing on the new TRON Lightcycle / Run snack stand near the attraction’s exit.
- Speaking of TRON, we finally got a look inside the new Team Green postshow at the exit as well, which is all about Enterprise Rent-a-Car, the ride’s sponsor.
- “Happily Ever After” seems to be largely unchanged if a new rehearsal video seems to be any indicator.
- A giant hole has been cut in the side of Splash Mountain as construction for its transformation into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure continues.
- The first casualty of the 50th Anniversary ending seems to be the If You Had Wings from The Lunching Pad, now replaced with a selection of hot dogs.
- Tomorrowland will close early one day next week to accommodate a media preview for TRON Lightcycle / Run.
EPCOT
- Following intense public outcry, Impressions de France has returned to its original operating hours in the evenings in World Showcase.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- The showtimes for Tree of Life Awakenings are no longer on the calendar starting Sunday due to early park close times.
Other Walt Disney World Resort News
- Ticket pricing and first panel info has been released for this year’s Destination D23 at Walt Disney World.
- A creator of unauthorized Disney ear headbands has been trespassed from Walt Disney World property.
Disneyland Resort
- EnginEAR Souvenirs opened for the first time today at Disneyland.
- Naturally we have a full photo tour of the interior including all the references to past Mickey Mouse shorts and films.
- We also have a look at all the new merchandise available to commemorate Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
- Due to inclement weather, both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will close early tonight, and the performance of “World of Color — ONE” has been cancelled.
- A guest at Disneyland was caught dragging her child on the ground by a leash today.
Disneyland Paris
- The Hulk is coming to meet guests in Avengers Campus at Walt Disney Studios Park.
Shanghai Disneyland
- To celebrate her grand debut at Disney Parks, Mei from “Turning Red” participated in a special cavalcade near the Enchanted Storybook Castle at Shanghai Disneyland.
- The small dynamic robot concept for character greetings shown off at SXSW today could find its first purpose as a Judy Hopps greeting when the new “Zootopia” expansion opens in Shanghai.
The Walt Disney Company
- Today at SXSW, Disney shared a first look at a small dynamic robot concept for character greetings.
- We also got a look at a “life-size” Tinker Bell for greetings, which may still come to the Disney Parks at some point in the future.
