Toontown’s grand reopening is almost here!
With all the excitement comes new rides, new places to eat, new merchandise, and so much more. We were able to get in for a special sneak preview today and got to try the new iconic candies that are available at Good Boy! Grocers!
Recently we told you the exciting news that some of those adorable treats you can see in the queue of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Toontown would be coming to life at Good Boy! Grocers, and today we actually got to TRY THEM for the first time ever!
You can grab the adorable Golly Pops, that are featured in the Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway queue!
These lollipops feature classic phrases — “Gawrsh“(from Goofy), “Hot Dog!” (from Mickey Mouse’s Clubhouse), and “Oh Boy” (from Mickey)!
You can also grab some of Scrooge McDuck’s Milk Chocolate Coins!
While they may not make you rich, they will be delicious (just eat them before they melt in the hot sun)!
And last, but most certainly not least, we have the Power Limes! Here’s a look at the “candy” from the queue.
These are a reference to the Powerline pop star from A Goofy Movie, and we were SO excited to get our hands on these. It is Sour Lime Taffy!

Just look at that pull! These taste like lime sherbet and are similar to a softer Laffy Taffy. Beware though, one bite, and your mouth will turn green!
If you’re on the east coast and feel a bit left out, don’t worry — Power Limes have made their way to the Creations Shop in EPCOT! Big thanks to @vanellopevonsweetz on Instagram for letting us know about the candy over at EPCOT!
There could be more candy on the way too, and if that’s the case, you know we’ll be trying them ASAP. As always stay tuned to DFB for all the Disney news, including Toontown’s official reopening on March 19th!
