We’ve seen Walt Disney World make a lot of changes in an effort to keep its guests as safe as possible. From requiring all guests to wear masks in its theme parks, to keeping things extra-clean and sanitized, a lot of changes have been made around the parks.
But it’s not just the theme parks that are working to keeping guests safe. Walt Disney World is also taking extra measures at its golf courses. Fore!
Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort golf courses will notice that a few things have changed this year. Disney Golf has launched its Park & Play Program, which allows golfers to pre-book their tee times online and pay with a credit card.
Then, those golfers just show up to the golf course and their magical sanitized carriage (golf cart) will await them upon arrival. It’s almost like being Cinderella!
There’s also a huge change for those wanting to visit the clubhouse and buy merch. All courses now require contactless payment, meaning cash will no longer be accepted. So keep that in mind before hitting the course.
A few other things to keep in mind: if you’re inside the any of the courses’ clubhouse, restrooms, or dining locations, facial coverings are required. Disney has also removed high-touch surfaces on the golf courses, like bunker rakes, sand bottles, and ball washers. Guests who want to ride solo in their carts just have to request it. And as always, keep social distancing in mind.
Walt Disney World has some of the most beautiful (and fun) golf courses in the world. So pre-book those slots and grab your clubs!
