Should There Be More SideKick Characters in the Parks?

Today I felt like sharing a little love for my favorite Disney sidekicks. You know, the characters that save the day quietly in the background to give us the comic relief we need to not take scary situations too seriously? When I was looking into character meet-and-greet spots the other day, I started to wonder why we don’t see more of our favorite partners in crime.

I would be totally up for a photo and a cuddle with Timon and Pumba from The Lion King or Louis from The Princess and the Frog. There are so many great characters that could use some more representation in the parks, including the Princes that go along with some of our favorite Princess Fairytales. I remember my children meeting Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder together, and it was a wonderful experience for them both. It makes me wonder why more of the more modern princess tales don’t include their male counterparts in their character appearances. Where is Prince Naveen? Or Prince Eric? I have questions.

What Disney sidekicks would you like to see roaming the parks and getting up to mischief?
