Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

Typhoon Lagoon originally closed for a refurbishment on November 13, 2022, when Blizzard Beach reopened with “Frozen” theming. Blizzard Beach has now closed for another refurbishment, meaning the two water parks will continue in the streak of not operating simultaneously that began when the COVID-19 pandemic forced both to close in 2020.

Themed as the ruins of a tropical paradise that was hit by an unbelievable typhoon and tidal wave, Typhoon Lagoon water park features eleven water-based attractions and a number of snack stands, bars, and interactive play features.

H2O Glow After Hours events are set to return to Typhoon Lagoon this May. Special appearances from rare Disney characters, dance parties, complimentary snacks and beverages, and lower wait times are sure to draw in nighttime crowds as temperatures rise in Florida. Tickets are on sale now.
