Animal Kingdom is turning 25 on April 22nd, which is also Earth Day, and Disney has released the merchandise and has introduced some new experiences for the big milestone. I want to give you guys an overview of the park and the new experiences that have arrived.

Anniversary Décor

I am using the word décor very loosely because this anniversary is lacking it. The only thing they currently have up is a stage near the Tree of Life.

I am assuming that the stage is set up for April 22nd to do a ceremony in the morning for Earth Day and the official birthday of the park.

New Character Meet and Greets

Earlier in the week, Tinker Bell and Fawn were spotted, and two days later, Tarzan and Jane made an appearance. It seems like the characters have been changing every few days since April 16th. Today the characters that were out were Princess Atta, and periodically Tinker Bell and Fawn appeared.

The was a massive line for this experience, so pack your patience and your water. I am really curious as to who will be meeting tomorrow on the actual anniversary.

Anniversary Food

The anniversary food items have been wrapped in the Earth Day menus, which makes sense. A lot of the options are in the table service locations, but there are a few treats at quick service restaurants. Here’s a look at a few of the food items that can be found around the park. This is just some of the fun at Animal Kingdom to celebrate its 25th Anniversary. The celebration will get wild tomorrow on its official birthday.
