We Give Up. We’ll Never Be as Cool as These Disney Items

Prepare to be JEALOUS.

Ariel in the Festival of Fantasy Parade

While the domestic Disney theme parks and shopDisney store can get pretty great stuff, sometimes the international parks just BLOW that totally out of the water. A Donald Duck restaurant in Shanghai Disney Resort?! A Coco restaurant in Disneyland Paris?! And epic popcorn buckets (some of the best of all time) at Tokyo Disneyland?! It’s enough to make you book an international flight or two. If you’re already feeling a little jealous about some of the things those in other countries can enjoy, get ready to turn totally GREEN with envy.

shopDisney Japan recently posted via Instagram about some ridiculously adorable UniBearsity “Little Mermaid” plushes that are now available! Just take a second to let them all soak in. Okay, wait, we’ve gotta break down some of the details because they’re just too much.

We start with the Urusla-themed plush. The bear itself is totally decked out in some Ursula-feeling things like blue eyeshadow/lashes, that tuft of grey hair on the top, some fabulous black fur on the neck, and (of course) a shell necklace. But what really gets us are the Flotsam and Jetsam puppets. HOW EPIC ARE THOSE?! Fabulous Ursula bear + puppets: they’re almost too much to handle!

And then it gets better. The King Triton-inspired bear is adorable on its own, but do you recognize who has inspired his puppet?

SEBASTIAN! The little puppet even has a necktie in the shape of a crab claw — how great is that?!

The Ariel-inspired plush is nice because it can be used in the tail/mermaid form…

…or human form (true to Ariel’s transformation). But it also comes with a puppet inspired by Flounder which is so small and sweet. Also, check out her tiara — you live that princess life, Ariel!

And finally, we get to the puppet inspired by Eric, which comes with…

…a puppet themed to his dog, Max, of course! The bangs and the little tongue sticking out is enough to make your heart melt. We give up everyone — frankly, we don’t see how we could ever be as cool as these bears and their themed puppets.

Unfortunately, you won’t find these bears on the US shopDisney website. They’re on the Japanese shopDisney website for now. But allow this to serve as our official petition to make these cuties available on the US site. Please. Pretty please? Okay, we’ll stop begging…for now.
