The China Pavilion is gorgeous and is filled with highly themed areas. Here you’ll find a huge store filled with unique and authentic merchandise. There’s also some great food here, but we aren’t here to discuss that. Today’s focus is on the museum that can be found near the theater that shows the film Reflections of China.
Next to the theater, you’ll find the House of Whispering Willows. This is currently home to an exhibit called Inside Shangai Disney Resort. Here guests can discover the wonders of that Disney Park while getting a sneak peek of what Disney’s latest international destination offers. Personally, I love this attraction because it’s a great break from crowds and the heat. I want to take you through this museum so that you can add it to your must-do list.
This is just a brief overview of what you’ll find here. Yes, this is a great spot to cool off, but it’s also a fantastic learning opportunity. I loved learning about the Garden of Twelve Friends and seeing how China’s rich heritage is represented throughout Shanghai Disney Resort. One of the most incredible things to see here is the different costumes that cast members wear throughout that park. I also enjoyed seeing all of the displays dedicated to each land, showcasing the attractions there.
I tend to forget that this museum exists during the cooler months, but once the temperature increases, I find my way back. This experience can take about 10 minutes if you are passing through, but if you take your time, you can spend about 30 minutes in the museum. If you are interested in watching Reflections of China, you can do this while waiting for the next showing.
Did you know about this hidden attraction in the China Pavilion? Now that you know it’s here, will you walk through the exhibit and experience all it has to offer on your next trip?
