Important Virtual Queue UPDATE for Disney’s Hollywood Studios

A BIG ‘Star Wars’ holiday is coming SOON!

May the Fourth — Star Wars Day — is coming up soon and we’re expecting some exciting things in the parks and beyond. Disney has announced a ton of snacks and drinks will be coming, along with some exclusive merchandise. If you’re spending the holiday in Disney World, we have an important update you might want to know about!

Did you know that May 4th is a HUGE deal in the Disney parks? For Star Wars fans, May the Fourth is basically a HOLIDAY, and when it comes to Disney holidays, you can’t celebrate without some merchandise! Disney will be releasing some exclusive merchandise for May the Fourth, and if you’re hoping to snag some of the items we’ve got an important update for ya!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Disney has shared that a Virtual Queue will be used for the May the 4th Merchandise Event at the Stage 1 Company Store in Hollywood Studios. You’ll need to use My Disney Experience to join the queue, and a standby queue won’t be an option for this event.

You’ll also need valid theme park admission and park pass reservations for Hollywood Studios to join the VQ, which will start at 7AM. But, you DO NOT need to be in the park when you join — just a park pass for Hollywood Studios. There’s a chance that this merchandise might be pretty popular since this Disney really only celebrates the holiday on one day!
