DLP Report shared a video of the announcement regarding the cancellation, which you can watch below.

The parade is usually performed once a day in the late afternoon but it was canceled at the last minute.

In February, a similar situation arose with the “Dream… and Shine Brighter” parade and stage show at Disneyland Paris. One performance went on without any characters and another performance was canceled as Cast Members protested unequal pay. The strike is a result of Disneyland Paris bringing in new performers who were paid more than the old performers still doing the same job.

In the past several weeks, there have been nationwide strikes and protests in France regarding a pension reform bill that raises the pension age from 62 to 64.
