If you are heading to Disney World soon, there is a hotel option you aren’t thinking of but might want to check out.
Some guests choose to stay at one of the Disney-owned hotels, which have perks like free transportation to and from the parks, access to great Disney Restaurants, and fun Disney theming. But, those hotels can be significantly more expensive than the non-Disney hotels you can find nearby. We’ve taken you on a tour of some updated additions near Disney World (like the Drury Plaza Hotel), but now we invite you to join us as we explore the UPDATED Delta Hotels Orlando Celebration by Marriott — a non-Disney-owned hotel that’s still close to the parks and offers many of the same perks found at those Disney resorts!
We were invited by Delta Hotels Orlando Celebration for the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the renovated hotel and we got to experience it all. The hotel has been undergoing a $35 MILLION(!!!) renovation and all the rooms have been redone. They are also continuing renovations to improve the guest experience.
Final changes will include updates in the conference center’s flexible meeting space. Let’s go through what you need to know about this hotel.
Location
The Delta Hotels by Marriott Orlando Celebration is located in Celebration. It is off HWY 192 and close to I4.
It is just 1.5 miles away from Walt Disney World Resort. Here’s a peek at the check-in area for the hotel.
Price
The price of staying at this resort can be a big perk. You can (depending on the date) find rooms for around $100 per night, which can be a pretty great savings when compared to some Disney World hotels.
We looked at rooms from a month from now and found a standard guest room with two queen beds for $122 and a standard king room for $132. Of course, you can pay extra for a pool view.

Disney Perks
This hotel is a Disney World good neighbor hotel, and guests get access to complimentary scheduled transportation not only to Walt Disney World but also to Universal Orlando Resort.
Amenities
If you’re looking to relax at the hotel, you’ve got options to do that too. There are two pools located on the property. The first pool is a large pool surrounded by chairs and umbrellas for guests to relax. The pool also features a waterfall.
There is a second smaller pool that is heated, which is great if you are visiting in the colder months.
There is also a fire pit area currently. However, this area will be redesigned beginning in June to be replaced with turf grass, more chairs, and lawn games.
There are also two hot tub areas for guests to relax in…
…and a fitness center to stay active in, if walking around a theme park all day isn’t enough for you!
The property also has several water features and a koi pond to create a relaxing environment.
There is also a pool side and 2 tennis courts to check out while there.
Restaurants
The hotel has many options for guests to grab food and drinks at. The Marketplace serves Starbucks coffee as well as grab-and-go options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The Pointe is a newly renovated restaurant open daily. It features a hot breakfast buffet.
It offers comfortable booth and table seating. It is open from 6:30-10:30 AM Monday thru Friday and 7-12 Saturdays and Sundays.

Plus, the hotel has a newly updated poolside bar and grill called the Rum Shack which you can check out.
And Elite Bonvoy members can stop by the Delta Pantry for on-the-go continental breakfast options, as well as snacks and drinks.
Rooms
There are 718 rooms on the property. The renovated rooms feature a NEW room design. Many rooms feature two queen beds, which can be convenient if you’ll be traveling with friends or family.
The updated rooms are said to”reflect Marriott’s Delta brand’s modern style, with a fresh, clean look, accented by warm undertones.” Inside the rooms, you’ll find a TV, a mini fridge, and a desk area for those who may have to work remotely while visiting.
The hotel does offer some rooms with king beds as well, and there are suites available too.
There are 6 buildings at the hotel, each of which has been renamed with a tropical reference to try and instill a sense of peace and relaxation while on vacation.
Summary
In talking about the renovation, Managing Director Paul Wilson shared, “This renovation completely transforms the experience of our guests…Travelers looking for a modern, relaxing space to wind down during their visit to Orlando and Disney can find it here.”
And here’s the best part. Right now, the hotel is inviting guests to celebrate the renovation by offering 15% OFF rates with the corporate code “NEW.” So check that out and take advantage of it while you can.
