Oh, Gideon’s Bakehouse. We love you!

You are the PERFECT destination for those of us with a sweet tooth and we will NEVER not enjoy nomming on your delicious cookies, cake slices, and smooth cold brews. Now, though, we have a NEW reason to visit Gideon’s Bakehouse, and we suggest you add a trip to Disney Springs on your calendar SOON.

We’ve already told you about Gideon’s Cookie of the Month, the Sea Turtle Cookie. It’s made with premium chocolate, homemade caramel, and whole candied pecans, sprinkled with Gideon’s signature sea salt. We also told you that IT WAS DELICIOUS.

Well now, you can get those flavors in a cake slice. The Sea Turtle Cake Slice has arrived! It’s Three layers of soft Chocolate Cake completely covered in Butter Pecan Buttercream with Caramel and Candied Pecans on top. Are you drooling yet? We are!

You’ll be able to find this cake slice at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs every Wednesday and Saturday through June — but it’s only available while supplies last. That means you should probably make a note to get to Gideon’s early!

If you’ve never been to Gideons before, you will need to visit the shop and sign up for the virtual queue if you’re headed there on the weekend. You’ll give your phone number and then get a text when it’s time for you to go inside the store. However, Gideon’s has mentioned in the past that things are sometimes a little quieter on weekends, so the weekend waits in the virtual queue may be shorter. On weekdays, you may just need to wait in line.

Remember that part of the proceeds made from the Sea Turtle cookie will help support the Florida’s Sea Turtle Conservancy. So you can have a sweet treat AND support a good cause.
