The new Evil Stuff gift shop for Villain-Con Minion Blast has opened today at Universal Studios Florida. Lets take a look.
Evil Stuff Gift Shop
Back in March, the sign for the new gift shop was installed and today, we finally got to check out the inside of the store. Lets take a look.
Friendly Team Members are seen wearing their new Evil Stuff-inspired uniforms. They have the Villain-Con logo on their hats. There is a purple wall behind the registers with the Villain-Con globe with the evil eyes peering through.
There are also various items available near the register such as Villain-Con-themed wristbands and totes.
The color scheme is lots of purple and orange. It matches the marquee displayed on the façade of Villain-Con Minion Blast.
There is a ton of new Villain-Con and Minion-themed merchandise throughout the store.
There are various Minions displayed throughout the store. This Minion is dressed as a robot. Behind him, is a wall of merchandise featuring artwork of some of the villains from the ‘Despicable Me’ franchise.
There is a display of a Minion dressed as Balthazar Bratt, the main villain in ‘Despicable Me: 3.” The Minion is wearing Balthazar Bratt’s signature purple blazer with shoulder pads. He also has Bratt’s famous mullet hairdo and mustache.
On the back, you can see the Minion also has a bald spot like Balthazar Bratt.
Another Minion is dressed as Vector Perkins, the main villain in the first ‘Despicable Me’ movie. The Minion has on Vector’s orange and white tracksuit — which can transform into a suit that makes him fly. He is also seen sporting Vector’s famous bowl-cut and glasses.
This Minion is dressed as Scarlet Overkill, who is the main villain in the ‘Minions’ movie. This Minion is sporting Scarlett’s signature hairstyle along with her red dress and black gloves and heels. She also has a giant crown on top of her head.
While you’re looking around at all the new merchandise, you can check out your new items in this full-length mirror.
Above the mirror, it says “Look your best while doing your worst!”
There are lots of Villain-Con International signs around the store. These look similar to those you’d see at a convention — which is precisely what Villain-Con is.
Here, we see a lot more Villain-Con and Minion-themed merchandise such as t-shirts, bucket hats, Loungeflys, water bottles, and more.
This merchandise wall features artwork of Balthazar Bratt, Scarlett Overkill, and Vector Perkins. Below the pictures, is more merchandise such as shirt, Minion plushes, and more.
As you are leaving the store, if you look up, you’ll see a sign that says “Thank you for visiting Villain-Con.”

Villain-Con Minion Blast
Belle Bottom, Jean Clawed, and the other members of the Vicious 6 will join guests aboard Illumination’s Minions at Villain-Con. Visitors will “blast their way to supervillain stardom.”
Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast is a moving walkway stand-through shooting attraction. The attraction was developed in partnership between Universal’s award-winning creative team and the filmmakers from Illumination. This interactive blaster game experience invites guests to compete against each other in hopes to join the franchise’s most dastardly supervillains.
Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast will use screen technology, gaming interactivity and physical sets to create a unique, game-based adventure. Guests will put their villainous skills to the test in these immersive environments, where they’ll spot nefarious evil-doers and mischievous Minions from Illumination’s films. The attraction promises to allow guests to interact with these characters in a whole new way.
The story behind the attraction is that guests are transported to Villain-Con: the biggest criminal convention on the planet. Here, they are instructed to take part in a competition to see if they have what it takes to become the newest member of The Vicious 6. Guests will then grab an interactive blaster and step onto a motion-based pathway to start blasting.
They’ll move through several scenes where they earn points by shooting at a variety of items and causing as much destruction as possible.
Villain-Con Minion Blast will be part of Illumination’s Minion Land on Illumination Avenue, also including the pre-existing Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and upcoming Minion Café, Bake My Day Eater, and Pop-A-Nana Popcorn.
