According to the official Walt Disney World Resort website calendar, the annual tradition of a special fireworks presentation specifically celebrating the Fourth of July will be returning to Magic Kingdom this coming July 3 and 4 at Walt Disney World.
Fourth of July Fireworks Returning
A 9:20 p.m. showtime for Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky is now scheduled for two nights, making the event official.
Last year, Celebrate America! had its comeback after a three-year hiatus due to COVID-19 pandemic closures and complications. Full video of the show can be viewed below.
The 2022 version had a new narrator and minor script changes in the first half. The second half was different than previous versions. You can compare it to our video from 2019 here. This updated show will likely be what is presented this year, though we will keep you updated.
In the new narration, the narrator starts the show by describing the United States as “America, the land of many people, a country that continues to grow.” The songs “Oh Susanna” and “Red River Valley” are no longer part of the show.
