Walt Disney is the man who started it all.

He helped create films that transported us into his dreams and designed theme parks that make us feel like we’re at home. Without him, we wouldn’t know what it would feel like to stare at Cinderella Castle in awe while happily munching on a churro. It still gives us all the feels to walk down Main Street U.S.A. Now, you can walk the halls of one more place Walt once called home.
According to the Wall Street Journal, you can now rent Walt Disney’s home in Los Angeles.

Walt Disney built this home in 1932 after the success of Mickey Mouse and Silly Symphony short films.

The home is a 4-bedroom house that is 6,400 square feet.

The home looks like something out of a storybook with a cobblestone driveway and ivy growing over the walls. Walt lived in this home with his wife and family for 20 years.

The current owner is Timur Bekmambetov, a film director. After purchasing the home in 2011, he used old photos to return the home to its original appearance. Bekmambetov has worked with Disney Historian and blogger Todd Regan to organize tours of the house in the past and now is wanted to give people to opportunity to rent the home.

So how much would it cost you to stay in Walt’s home? Just a cool $40,000 a month. 
For $40,000 a month, you can sit in the screening room where Walt viewed his films — which you have to admit, would be pretty cool.

There is also a playhouse in the backyard that Walt gave his daughters on Christmas Day in 1937.
