Emmy-Nominated Actor Treat Williams Has Died at 71

Actor Treat Williams has passed away at the age of 71.

His death was confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter in a statement from his agent, Barry McPherson.

Treat Williams, the Emmy-nominated actor who starred in the WB Series Everwood as well as in such films as Prince of the City and Hair died in a motorcycle accident on Monday, June 12th, 2023.

Williams collided with a car near Dorset, Vermont while riding a motorcycle. Although wearing a helmet, the actor was thrown from his motorcycle and suffered critical injuries. He was airlifted to Albany Medical Center, where he was then, sadly, pronounced dead.

In addition to acting in shows such as Heartland and Blue Bloods, Williams wrote a children’s book, Air Show!, which was published by Disney-Hyperion Books in 2010.
