NEWS: The Candlelight Processional Will RETURN to the 2023 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays

Yes, it’s summer, and it’s hot out and miserable, so we’re just going to mentally skip this whole summer thing and go straight to thinking about the holidays.

Fortunately, Disney World is doing the same thing because we’ve been learning about ALL kinds of things coming to the parks for this holiday season. We’ve got all the ticket prices AND dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. We even just learned about a NEW holiday party coming to Hollywood Studios. We also now know that a beloved Disney World holiday tradition will return this year.

Disney World has confirmed the return of the Candlelight Processional during the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays starting on November 24th through December 30th.

For those not familiar with it, the Candlelight Processional is a retelling of the story of Christmas that takes place at the American Adventure Pavilion at EPCOT. The processional features celebrity narrators and a live orchestra, as well as a full choir. It’s one of the most popular holiday traditions at Disney World.

In the past, celebrity narrators have included Neil Patrick Harris, Simi Liu, Josh Gad, Angela Bassett, Whoopie Goldberg, Courtney Vance, and more. A dining package is also usually available for those Disney World guests who want guaranteed seats for the event.

Disney has not yet released details about this year’s dining packages, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for more information, so be sure to stay tuned to DFB for more.
