An EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Dish Has Moved! Here’s Where You Can Find This France Booth Favorite NOW

Bonjour once again from EPCOT’s France pavilion! This is not our first visit to this lovely pavilion this week. We’ve been trying some of the new options recently added to the France Booth as part of the offerings for the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival.

Feuilleté d’Escargot à la Crème d’Ail et Persil: Escargot in Puff Pastry with Garlic and Parsley Cream Sauce

A few days ago, a new Escargot in Puff Pastry dish joined the booth’s offerings. While we really like the new item, it took the place of another that we quite enjoyed, as well: the Goat Cheese Tart. So it took us happily by surprise today when we found that the Goat Cheese Tart has not disappeared completely: it has simply moved!

You can now find the Goat Cheese Tart (or Tarte aux Oignons Caramelises et Chévre) at Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie, our favorite spot tucked into the back of the France pavilion!

Goat Cheese Tart

The Tart isn’t yet listed on the menu, but we couldn’t help recognizing it sitting right there among the sandwiches and other savory items in the bakery case like the classic Jambon Beurre.

One thing that wasn’t as familiar, though, was the SIZE! Here at Les Halles, the Goat Cheese Tart is practically DOUBLE in size of what we enjoyed during the Festival!

But it serves up all of the same golden, flaky crust generously topped with goat cheese and caramelized onions.

And the great news is that it’s $4.75 here at the Patisserie! (During its Festival run, it rang up for $5.50.)

So, there you have it! This dish that made its debut at the Flower and Garden Festival then transformed into a Food and Wine Festival dish can now be yours at Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie 😉 … at least for now!

We are really hoping the Goat Cheese Tart is added as a regular offering to the Patisserie’s menu, and we’ll keep you posted if that comes true! For now, we say “Au Revoir!” From EPCOT’s France!
