As Independence Day comes closer, decorations and festivities continue to pop up at Walt Disney World, along with snacks like this Fourth of July milkshake we recently discovered at Sunshine Seasons in The Land pavilion of EPCOT.
Fourth of July Shake – $12
Red Velvet Shake with Whipped Cream and Red Velvet Cake.
There are no real surprises with this one, it tastes exactly as expected, though the shake tastes more chocolatey once the red velvet taste fades away.
It is pretty messy, as the rim is pre-dipped with red, white and blue sprinkles topped with a red velvet cupcake.
This item is a great option if you’re looking for a festive treat, and overall it reminds us of a frosty from Wendy’s.
Independence Day at Walt Disney World
To celebrate the Fourth of July, a U.S. Air Force flyover has been announced for Tuesday morning. Additionally, on July 3 and 4, Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky will be returning in the nighttime.
At EPCOT, the “Heartbeat of Freedom” Fourth of July fireworks tag will be returning at 9 p.m. this Tuesday, Independence Day. Check out our video of the performance from last year above.
Tons of sweets and snacks for the occasion have been announced at Walt Disney World and Disneyland; check out the Patriotic Top Hat Cake we recently tried at Disney’s Riviera Resort.
