Sometimes snacks at Disney World are so good that you want to get them again and again.

While there are lots of tasty new options at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to choose from (like the floats inspired by Disney Pixar’s Elemental movie and the limited-time offerings at Indiana Jones Den of Destiny pop-up bar), recently, we decided to snag a few treats that have been at this park for a WHILE now because sometimes you just want a delicious, reliable treat. Come with us to check out three classic snacks at Hollywood Studios.

It wasn’t too long ago that we wrapped up Disney World’s 18-month-long 50th anniversary celebration that introduced us to so many new treats. At the close of the celebration, we were sad to see so many go away. However, not ALL of the tasty 50th treats went away!

When we set out on our park day, we thought it would be a great idea to re-try these treats and see if they’re as good as we remember. Here’s a look at three of the snacks that have survived a post-50th anniversary makeover!

Toffee and Coconut Blondie

As you come to almost the very end of Sunset Boulevard, you’ll find yourself surrounded by an array of quick-service restaurants. This particular treat can still be found at its original home during (and now post) the 50th celebration at Fairfax Fare.

We saw a previous version of this treat called the Glimmer and Shimmer Blondie. We were actually super excited that this treat stuck around after the 50th celebration came to an end, albeit under a different name. We purchased this one for $4.49.

The new name for this treat is the Toffee and Coconut Blondie. It’s essentially the same as the 50th version, just with a little less “glimmer” on the decorations. It’s made of gooey toffee in a toasted coconut blondie topped with salted caramel buttercream.

The blondie cookie is soft but thick and much larger than you think it would be for the price. The price was great for such a large snack and we were able to split it comfortably between two people. The toffee was nice and soft while the coconut added the extra flavor and texture to really bring it together. The salted caramel buttercream icing at the top gave it an extra sweet touch when you paired it with the rest of the bite.

It very well could have just been because it was so hot outside, but the buttercream left a somewhat strange aftertaste in our mouths — almost like it was coating our mouth and throat. Other than that it was really hard to find fault with this one and we really enjoyed each bite. We think you would probably enjoy this snack if you like gooey toffee and coconut and appreciate a good cookie. (If you’re a bug fan of Jack-Jack’s Num Num Cookie, this might be fun to try as well, since the textures are similar!) If you’re not a fan of the toffee and coconut flavors or cookies aren’t really a tempting snack option for you, then you could probably pass on this one.

Overall, we think this is one of the BEST treats in Hollywood Studios, and for less than $5, it’s really a steal!

But let’s check out some of the other 50th treats that stuck around!

Earl Grey Cupcake

Sometimes you’re just in the mood for a cupcake, so we decided to grab one today. For this next treat, we stopped by The Trolley Car Cafe which is Hollywood Studios’ resident Starbucks location. This one was super easy to pick up from the refrigerated section! It came individually packaged for easy carrying.

Yes, this is an oldie but a goodie too — you might remember this one from the 50th celebration as the Glimmer and Shimmer Earl Grey Cupcake. For its new life, they’ve dropped the “glimmer and shimmer” and opted for the straightforward Early Grey Cupcake name. We grabbed this one for $5.99! It’s an Earl Grey-flavored cupcake topped with orange buttercream frosting.

We really loved just how moist this cupcake was! The Earl Grey was a delicious, bold flavor and made it almost spicy (like spice-spicy, not hot-spicy). The buttercream frosting was good, but if you’re not a frosting lover it could feel a bit overpowering. It was, however, a good texture, and while the orange wasn’t a super bold flavor, it paired well with the Earl Grey — and there was a lot of it.

We think if you really like the Earl Grey tea flavor and buttercream you’ve met your match with this cupcake but if you’re not a super fan of tea or buttercream icing it would be best to pass on this one.

Peanut Butter Cookie Sandwich

We needed to pack a bit of protein into our day so we opted for the Peanut Butter Cookie Sandwich next. This one we found at Rosie’s All American Cafe (right by Fairfax Fare) on Sunset Blvd. We picked this snack up for $5.29!

We’ve seen this one during the 5oth celebration as well with a different decoration. This time, they’ve opted to retheme it with a Fantasmic! chocolate piece covering the top of the cookie. It’s made of a pretzel shortbread cookie sandwiched with strawberry jam and peanut butter-chocolate fudge.

We enjoyed the combination of strawberry, chocolate, and peanut butter. The pretzel shortbread cookie had good flavor, and if you like a crumbly shortbread cookie, this one is pretty good. The layers of filling added a nice gooey texture to the mix. We particularly thought the strawberry jam brightened it up.

If you’re not a fan of shortbread cookies, this could seem dry to you. Also, the white chocolate decor piece got very melty after a few minutes in the sun. If you like white chocolate, that could be a good thing — but if not, it made a white chocolate mess. The printed part that was on the top of the white chocolate was not great, so we figured it was just to add decoration to the treat.

Overall we were really glad to see these treats survive after the Disney World 50th celebration has closed, but we’re not quite certain how long we can anticipate them staying around. Our best advice is to grab them on your next upcoming trip if you’re looking to try them for yourself and not wait too long.
