Should I Bid on a DISMEMBERED Mickey HeadšŸ˜³ From a MEGA Disney Auction? (Please Say Yes)

Calling all Disney collectors, history buffs, and antique lovers: the ultimate Disney sale of a LIFETIME is happening soon, and you need to see whatā€™s up for sale.

Peter Panā€™s Flight

If you thought your collection of Disney pins, Loungefly bags, or popcorn buckets was impressive, just wait until you see the AMAZING collection of Disneyland (and Disney World) items going to auction this July. Prepare to be AMAZED.

One of the largest individually owned Disney Park collections in the world is set to hit the auction block at Van Eaton Galleries this July. Titled ā€œThe Joel Magee Disneyland Collection,ā€ 1,500 pieces of Disney Parks props, Imagineering artwork, costumes, and more will be available via both an in-person and online auction. The auction will take place from July 17th to July 19th. If you find yourself in California this summer, you can check out the HUGE collection of items on display at a 30,000-square-foot building in Burbank.

Listen. There are 1,500 items up for sale, including everything from three Audio-Animatronic Hitchhiking Ghosts toĀ a rare set of Tiki Birds from the Enchanted Tiki Room. While we could easily spend allllllll day sifting through the auction catalog, weā€™ll spare you the time and pull out a few of the highlights instead.

How cool would it be to have the ACTUAL Main Street City Hall Doors in your home? These doors are said to be the original Guest Relations City Hall doors from Disneyland in 1955, and they are expected to sell between $15,000-$20,000.

Remember those adorable old Emporium Shop displays on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland? These Disney Heads come straight from Disneyland way back in the 1990s, and each display head is expected to sell between $600-$900. For a piece of REAL Disney history, this isnā€™t such a bad deal!

We simply HAD to show off these retro Mary Poppins Hats from Disneyland in the 1960s. We donā€™t know about you, but we could totally still rock these hats today.

For all you Disney costume nerds, check out this incredible piece of history! We found an old Disneyland A Babes in Toyland Soldier Costume Head and Arms from the 1960s.Ā  This is expected to sell for between $1,000-$2,000.

Our jaws DROPPED when we saw these Stretching Room Portraits up for sale. You can get an original Haunted Mansion Stretching Portrait ā€” but itā€™ll likely cost you between $80,000-$100,000.Ā

Speaking of incredible history, thereā€™s an entire Haunted Mansion Doom Buggy Attraction Vehicle up for sale. Interestingly, the Doom Buggy is priced cheaper than the stretching room artwork, though itā€™s still not cheap at $30,000-$50,000. But can you really put a price on this kind of history?Ā

Oh, and thereā€™s also a Peter Panā€™s Flight Ride Vehicle coming to auction ā€” any guesses on the price? The price is listed between $75,000-$100,000. You could take a LOT of Disneyland vacations for that kind of money!
