Does Flying Fish Have a Dress Code in Disney World?

While we think of Disney World as a place for family fun, it can also be a great place for a date night!

Walt Disney World

Disney World has some very upscale places to dine, including Morimoto Asia, Yachtsman Steakhouse, and many more. Today, we’re taking a look at the dress code at one of Disney World’s signature restaurants — Flying Fish.

Flying Fish is located on Disney’s BoardWalk in the EPCOT Resorts area of Disney World. The focus is on seasonal, sustainable fare.

We have had some phenomenal meals at Flying Fish! In our recent reviews, we have enjoyed the Seafood Pasta, Chilean Sea Bass with Miso Crab, and the Slow-Roasted Pork Belly appetizer.

As you can probably tell, this is definitely a more upscale restaurant (it is what Disney considers to be a “signature” restaurant), and there is a dress code. That’s right folks, you’ve got to put away the Mickey shorts and loud patterned Crocs for a night. To eat at Flying Fish, the dress code is as follows (according to Disney’s website:

  • “Men must wear khakis, slacks or dress shorts and collared shirts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition. Sport coats are optional.
  • Women must wear Capri pants, skirts, dresses or dress shorts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition.
  • Not permitted are tank tops, flip-flops, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, hats for gentlemen, cut-offs, torn clothing and t-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics.”
