Disney Fantasy Room Tour: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah
Upon entering the room is the queen-sized bed, complete with white linens and a navy Disney Cruise Line-themed bed runner.
Here’s a closer look at the bed runner, which features all sorts of recognizable icons, including the Disney Cruise Line logo, an anchor, and Mickey Mouse himself.
Across from the bed is this art print of travelers waving to a Disney cruise ship as it passes by.
One of our favorite aspects of a Disney Cruise Line stateroom is the bedside lamps.
They are very nautically themed, but have small castles notating all of the different Disney Parks around the world.
On the right side of the bed are the only bedside plugs for any electronics, so good to keep in mind if you charge your phone at night while sleeping.
Here’s a look at the room divider fully extended, which helps to separate the bed from the sleeper sofa on the other side of the room.
This is what the divider looks like on the sleeper sofa side. This offers both sides privacy, as well as a bit more darkness for sleeping.
If you’re staying on the sleeper sofa in this room, you will get a full view of the sunlight outside from the verandah, but you’ll also get the best view of the in-room television.
This side also includes the full desk and vanity.
Inside the left cabinet of the desk is a mini fridge, which is very useful if you’re bringing beverages or other food back to the room.
The desk is where you’ll find the majority of the room’s various outlets, USB-A ports, and hairdryer plug.
Here’s a closer look at the USB ports, which are only for USB-A.
This stateroom also features some fun theming, like these stamps just above the sleeper sofa. You can also see the small reading light for this side of the room in the lower left of this photo.
In our room, the display had three collections of stamps framed together. This set features Ariel, Ursula, and Hercules.
This side featured many Disney animals, including Duchess from “The Aristocats,” and Tramp from “Lady and the Tramp.”
And, of course, you can’t have a Disney collection without Mickey Mouse making an appearance, as he did on this stamp.
This is what the sleeper sofa looks like unfolded. All we had to do was grab the top of the sofa and pull down. The bed is already made for you. This is more of a twin-sized bed, and is perfect for a child or small adult.
As far as storage goes, there are many drawers and cabinets for you to use at the desk.
You also get two full closets in this stateroom, as well as two small pantry-like storage shelves and three more drawers just next to them.
This is what the closets look like inside. There’s plenty of room in both to store all your belongings.
In one of the closets will be the combination lock safe, which is great for storing valuables when you’re not in your room.
The room’s lifejackets are kept at the top of the closet.
Our suite had one bathroom split into two rooms that separated the toilet and the shower. The bathroom door to the right led us to the toilet, but there is also a sink and a mirror, as well.
Our bathroom had H2O+ Beauty hand soap in it, which we were very excited about. Disney announced that they were retiring the brand at the end of 2022, but it appears they’re still going through their remaining stock.
This room is only for people who need to quickly use the restroom or wash their hands versus taking up the entire bathroom.
The other part of the bathroom holds the shower and another sink. This way, you can take a shower or get ready for bed without disturbing anyone or holding up the restroom.
There are two towel racks in this bathroom, giving you plenty of space to hang your wet towels.
This bathroom also has a sink area, complete with small shelves that hold face and hand towels, as well as a bottle of H2O+ Beauty body lotion.
In the shower on the other side of the bathroom, there is another small shelf stocked with H2O+ Beauty products, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Here’s a better look at the shower. it includes a small bathtub in addition to functioning as a stand-up shower.
One of the shower half-curtains stays on theme with an all-over pattern of nautical Mickey heads made of rope.
The sink in this bathroom also comes with H2O+ Beauty sea salt facial soap for you to wash your face.
On the back of the entry door is an Assembly Station graphic. To the left of the door is the room’s temperature control knob.
Just below the temperature control is the lighting control card reader. You will need to keep your room key in this station at all times if you want to have lights on in your stateroom. If you remove your room key, the lighting will turn off.
Your door will also come with a “Room Occupied” door hanger attached. You can put this on the outside of your door if you do not wish to be disturbed while inside your stateroom.
Finally, let’s take a look at the verandah. There are two sets of curtains on each side of the door to the verandah, so you can use those to control the amount of light coming into your room from outside.
Upon turning the door handle and unlocking it, you step out onto the verandah.
The verandah includes two chairs and a small table.
This space might seem small, but once out on the water, it offers a great view.

Silver Anniversary at Sea
Disney Cruise Line is celebrating 25 years of sailing with the Silver Anniversary at Sea celebration on select sailings from May through September 2023. The first Disney Cruise Line ship, Disney Magic, began its maiden voyage on July 30, 1998.
Mickey and Minnie are wearing new shimmering teal and white costumes for the anniversary celebration. The rest of their friends also have new costumes.
Guests will be invited to join the ship’s captain and cruise director on one evening of each cruise for a special anniversary toast. They will be joined by Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie in their new Silver Anniversary at Sea outfits and the toast will feature the anniversary’s new theme song.
Disney Cruise Line was the first cruise line ever to have a fireworks show at sea. A new 25th-anniversary fireworks display will be featured on some Silver Anniversary at Sea itineraries. The limited-time show features iconic Disney music and a new signature song. The show will be on most Bahamian, Caribbean, and Mediterranean sailings this summer.
A 25th anniversary pre-show is currently playing before the Disney Cruise Line sail away parties.
The anniversary of Disney Cruise Line also heralds the unveiling of a brand-new membership tier for Castaway Club, which recognizes returning Disney Cruise Line guests with exclusive rewards and perks. Honoring 25 years of Disney magic at sea, members will now earn the distinction of Pearl status after 25 Disney Cruise Line vacations. As the line’s biggest fans, Pearl members will unlock new at-home and onboard benefits. Check out the new Castaway Club lanyards and stateroom gifts.
Castaway Club members who sail during the Silver Anniversary at Sea will receive a limited edition 11×14 framed Captain Mickey art print in their stateroom. The artwork is by Disney artist Joe Kaminski.
The Shimmering Seas Collection of merchandise includes a Loungefly mini backpack, Spirit Jersey, and more. Check out some of the 25th anniversary merchandise and the Silver Anniversary pin.
There are also plenty of Silver Anniversary-inspired food and beverage items. Souvenirs include a popcorn bucket and a tumbler.
