We know — things happen so fast at Disney World that it’s SO hard to keep track of everything.
EPCOT
That’s why we’re here, to try and keep you updated on all the changes (and there are a LOT of them!). EPCOT has been changing quite a bit recently (thanks to a MASSIVE ongoing transformation), but a spot that was permanently closed (or so we thought) just got a makeover…and we have questions.
Okay, so we need to offer up some background details. Traveler’s Cafe in EPCOT was once a Starbucks location — it had originally replaced Fountain View as the park’s Starbucks spot. However, Traveler’s Cafe closed permanently in 2022 when Connections Café opened and became the new Starbucks location for the park.

Well, today we noticed that something was HAPPENING at the old Traveler’s Cafe location. It was getting a new paint job. So…what does that mean? Well, it means that Disney potentially has some new plans for the old location! It’s looking pretty spiffy, right?

So we tracked down some Cast Members and asked about what was going on. Because something is OBVIOUSLY going on, right? Disney wouldn’t just decide to paint a closed location without a plan, right? We asked two Cast Members, who both told us this could become a food and beverage stand. However, they didn’t know exactly what it was or when it was opening.

So it’s basically going to be a NEW food and drink spot? Potentially? We’re VERY cool with that. Of course, we don’t have much more information beyond that, but we’ll keep an eye on what’s going on there and keep you updated. So stay tuned to DFB for more!
