But, uncertainty still remained over Christmastime offerings like Magic Kingdom’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays, and Candlelight Processional.

Previously, Disney stated they “are monitoring our new environment closely, and will make a decision on these events as we continue to learn more from government and health officials,” but now they’ve confirmed this year’s Candlelight Processional has been cancelled.

The Candlelight Processional is a celebrity-narrated performance that traditionally includes a 50-piece orchestra and choir composed of Cast Members and visitors who are invited to perform from around the county. The performances took place three times each evening at the America Gardens Theater in the American Pavilion in EPCOT during the holidays.

In the statement issued today, Disney said: “Other holiday experiences that draw big crowds will be on hiatus this year…such as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Candlelight Processional at EPCOT.
