If you haven’t heard, we are big fans of Gideon’s Bakehouse.
This dessert spot in Disney Springs has been serving up some delicious, nearly half-pound cookies for a couple of years now, and we can’t resist stopping by when we’re in the area. But, did you know that this bakery started as a pop-up shop in Orlando 7 years ago? Today, Gideon’s fans can celebrate the anniversary with a special treat, but only for a limited time!
Earlier today, Gideon’s Bakehouse shared on Instagram that its first public appearance happened 7 years ago at the East End Market in Orlando.
To celebrate, they are offering a limited-time Cake Slice that has only been available in those first few days at the pop-up shop! The Lemon Crumb Cake is “simple, soft, and flavorful” — a Lemon Cake with Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting and Lemon Crumb accents.
This cake is only available today at both locations and there is a limit to 2 per person — so hurry over to pick up this super rare cake slice before it’s gone! In the meantime, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney news.
