The lawsuit against Disneyland for its Magic Key Holder program is coming to a close, as a joint motion to adjourn the case and settle has been filed.
According to the latest motion, which followed an in-person mediation, both Disney and Janale Nielsen, who filed both individually and on behalf of other Dream Key Holders, have agreed to settle the lawsuit.
Both parties will have until August 31, 2023 to finalize the terms of the settlement. All future hearings have been adjourned sin die, meaning that there will be no scheduled date for resumption.
As of August 2022, language was added to the terms and conditions of the Magic Key passes regarding class action lawsuits, which, through the purchase, guests waive their right to pursuing litigation related to the pass.
