Indoor Dining Is Coming Soon to These Downtown Disney Restaurants!

Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park may still be closed, but that hasn’t stopped us from having a fun time over in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District.

And, while we’ve enjoyed eating at some of our favorite spots in their outdoor seating areas, we’re now starting to get more information about when restaurants in Downtown Disney should be seating guests indoors!

Earlier this year, indoor dining was suspended statewide by California’s Governor Newsom in an attempt to mitigate the spread of the pandemic. So, restaurants in California have been restricted to offering outdoor dining for quite some time now.

But, just yesterday, it was also announced that Orange County — the county where Disneyland is located — has advanced to the next reopening tier. According to the city of Anaheim’s reopening website, this means that indoor dining can now be offered at restaurants in the county. Indoor dining is limited, however, to 25% capacity or 100 people, whichever is less.

So, of course, we stopped by some of the restaurants around Downtown Disney to see if they knew if or when they would begin offering indoor dining. First, we made our way to La Brea Bakery Cafe after spotting a post on their Instagram that said indoor dining would now be available in their Downtown Disney cafe.

But, when we spoke to the hostess there, she said they were not doing indoor dining yet. The hostess said outdoor seating is still what’s being offered for now.

We’ll keep checking back here to see if that changes in the future.

Over at Naples Ristorante e Bar, the employee we spoke to said that the restaurant should be starting indoor seating on Friday.

We then spoke to an employee at Ballast Point Brewing Co. The person we spoke to said they weren’t sure when they’re going to start offering indoor seating, but that it should be either be Friday or Monday.

If you’re looking for some burgers and crazy cool shakes, you’ll definitely want to check out Black Tap. We spoke to someone at Black Tap who said they didn’t know when they’ll start indoor dining. We’ll keep checking back at this spot in the future.

Finally, we made our way over to Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen, where an employee told us that they should be offering indoor seating within the next week or so.

We’ll keep checking in with all of the restaurants around Downtown Disney to see when they start offering indoor dining and what procedures they put in place to maintain social distancing. Be sure to come back for more Disney news!
