A new, updated Elsa Fantasmic costume has debuted at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the nighttime spectacular.

The update is specifically for Elsa’s transformational costume, where she switches from her traveling dress to her Fifth Spirit dress in the middle of the “Frozen 2” segment of the show.

As you can see in these images, her traveling dress is still the same.

But once Elsa “transforms” and the dress change occurs, her updated look can be seen.

The new dress is all one piece, which better hides the transformational aspect of the costume, and less of Elsa’s traveling dress can be seen.

And here’s a look at the new Elsa Fantasmic costume while she’s aboard the steamboat at the end of the show.

Here, you can see Elsa’s skirt is all one piece with just a single slit up the side.

Elsa’s original costume for “Fantasmic!” was not one complete, closed skirt, but rather multiple panels that would fall over her traveling dress as part of the quick change. While the effect is still cool, you could still see her first dress through the panels of the Fifth Spirit dress.
