Getting into the Disney World parks as an Annual Passholder just got a little easier!

Disney World annual passholders have recently seen lots of changes to the park pass reservation system this year with even more promise to come for 2024, but it seems Disney is actively working to make using your annual pass more flexible with a new surprise!
Disney World annual passholders recently received a surprise when logging into their My Disney Experience accounts. A quick glance at the park pass reservation calendar shows the addition of several bonus park pass reservations offered for the next upcoming weeks. These dates are notated with stars in place of the standard green or white bubbles depending on availability.

Starting Saturday, August 5th, through Sunday, August 15th, 2023 on most days select parks will allow for these bonus park pass reservations that don’t count against the passholder’s tier allotment. Here’s a breakdown of the dates and parks we saw that were available starting with EPCOT on August 5th, 2023!

We were surprised to see Sunday, August 6th, 2023 as a bonus reservation for Magic Kingdom…

…followed by Tuesday, August 8th, 2023 for Disney’s Animal Kingdom…

…EPCOT on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023 again…

…Thursday, August 10th, 2023 for Disney’s Animal Kingdom again…

…and the last one for Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Sunday, August 13th, 2023.

While these bonus park pass reservations have certainly helped annual passholders get to the parks more frequently in the past, we’re wondering how utilized these bonus park pass reservations will be. Most of the park days recently have been completely green — meaning you’re able to make a reservation for each of the 4 parks — and since the updated changes a few months ago, passholders can also access any of the parks after 2PM through the week with the exception of Magic Kingdom for Saturdays and Sundays.
