The NEW Treat in Disney World Looks Like Sand, But You’ll Want It Anyways

World Princess Week has arrived, and what better way to celebrate feeling like royalty than with new treats!

Make It Pink Make It Blue!

We’ve tried color-changing mousse, a DOLE Whip Cone that looks like Rapunzel’s long locks, and a mermaid milk shake that looks like it’s covered in … seaweed? Cute seaweed, that is! Now, we’re headed over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to check out a new cupcake dedicated to our favorite wayfinding princess.

The new Moana Heart of Te Fiti Cupcake has debuted at Pizzafari in Animal Kingdom. This tropical dessert is a coconut cake with pineapple custard filling, coconut buttercream, white chocolate ‘Heart of Te Fiti,’ and coconut crumble. We got it for $6.29.

Moana Heart of Te Fiti Cupcake

The first thing we noticed is that this cupcake is beautiful. The coconut crumble looks like sand on a beach and the blue and white buttercream surrounding the heart of Te Fiti is a fitting tribute to the ocean Moana loves.

Cute!

This cupcake is loaded with coconut flavor! Paired with the pineapple custard filling, it had a great sweet and tangy combo that reminded us of summer. The buttercream was rich and had a bold coconut flavor that we enjoyed.

Who’s ready for the beach?

Keep in mind that this is a very sweet treat, so you might want to share it with a friend if you don’t want a total sugar rush! But if you love tropical flavors and are looking for a beautiful snack to celebrate Princess Week, this is a great Insta-worthy option.

YUM

This is just one of the many snacks Disney has released for the occasion, so keep an eye out for other princess-themed snacks around the park! As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney news.
