12 NEW Menu Items Are Coming to a Disney World Hotel Restaurant

We’re constantly on the lookout for new food in Disney World!

Saratoga Springs Resort

Whether that’s new snack items in the parks, updated menus at table service restaurants, or delicious offerings at an EPCOT festival, there’s a LOT to eat in Disney World. And now, we’ve heard that a hotel restaurant is about to overhaul its menu!

The Artist’s Palette is the quick service location at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, and it’s getting some big changes! Disney announced that there will be new menu items here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner starting on August 9th. Let’s dive into the list!

The Artist’s Palette

First up, Chef Nick Walker has a new plant-based offering for breakfast — the Avocado Toast. It’s made with avocado, cherry tomatoes, radish, pickled red onions, arugula, and “aïoli” on toasted sunflower bread.

For those with a sweet tooth, you can try out the French Toast Strata. It’s already on the menu but has been updated with a crème anglaise. It’s served with berries and your choice of sausage or bacon.

The grab-and-go market section of the restaurant is also getting some updates. You’ll soon be able to order the Charcuterie with the Chef’s selection of cheeses, cured meats, and traditional accompaniments, as well as the Turkey BLT served with chef’s house-made pimento cheese.

For sandwich fans, the Beef on Weck is made up of sliced brisket and horseradish cream on a caraway brioche bun served with au jus and Saratoga chips. They’re also adding the Tuna Salad Sandwich on toasted sunflower bread.

In the past, The Artist’s Palette has served pizza, but now that menu offering is getting an update. The Margherita Pizza has been updated to have mozzarella, fresh pizza sauce, and basil pistou on house-made pizza dough.

After 4PM, The Artist’s Palette transitions into dinnertime, at which point you’ll be able to order three different create-your-own entrees. These options are Homestyle MeatloafSautéed Garlic Shrimp, and Herb-roasted Chicken. They’re served with your choice of two sides from this list — Yukon gold mashed potatoes, garlic green beans, roasted rainbow carrots, steamed white rice, or edamame succotash

And finally, there are two new sweets available on the menu! First is the Derby Day Pie, and Disney says, “This delight is inspired by traditional sweets from a day at the racetrack and features a pie shell with chocolate-nut filling topped with buttercream and horseshoe décor.” Also new to The Artist’s Palette is the signature Artist’s Palette Cookie — made of a sugar cookie served with icing “paint” and a strawberry biscuit stick “paintbrush.” If this sounds familiar, it probably reminds you of the similar version at the EPCOT Festival of the Arts.

Disney also notes that the beloved Saratoga Salad and the Ham and Cheese Panini will be staying on the menu, so don’t worry if those are some of your favorites!
