The Full Guide to Dining at Disney’s POP Century & Art of Animation Resort

Disney’s POP Century and Art of Animation Resort are only separated by a small bridge. Both resorts have large food courts, and pre-pandemic AOA had the best one. Landscape of Flavors, the quick service location at Art of Animation, had a very diverse menu, but after they reopened, the menu had just gone downhill. POP Century is a fun and larger-than-life resort with a decent food court. The menu updates with a new item or a special cupcake every few months. Let’s dive into each dining location and see what they offer.

Everything POP Shopping & Dining

There are various food stations to choose from when dining here and a grab-and-go refrigerator section towards the back. Here guests will find plenty of dishes that the entire family will love, like pizza, cheeseburgers, and housemade desserts.

Some items that stood out to me were the honey barbecued pork sandwich, the Mediterranean curry chickpea salad, and the grilled chicken sandwich. Yes, I know, these three items sound very basic, but the way they are prepared is what makes them unique. Here’s a look at what goes on these sandwiches and salads.

Well, now I’m hungry after reading those descriptions. I love when Disney puts a zesty vegetable slaw on a sandwich; it adds more texture and flavor. The grilled chicken sandwich would be a great lunch item before or after the pool. The most refreshing dish out of the three would have to be the Mediterranean curry chickpea salad. It seems like the perfect summer meal to eat by the pool with a cold drink in hand.

Landscape of Flavors

This food court has always been praised for being the best one on property, but after COVID-19, it went downhill. By downhill, I mean it got the same menu as Disney’s POP Century Resort. It seems that it is slowly returning to what it once was, which is exciting.

My favorite thing about this food court is the create-your-own entree station, which didn’t exist when it reopened. After my last visit, I saw that this station had returned, which made me so happy. My favorite thing is how diverse the menu is and how there’s an option for everyone here.

I know it doesn’t seem like there are many options here, but remember, both of these resorts are on the Disney Skyliner route. This mode of transportation can get you to a handful of great food options in just a few minutes. I highly recommend “flying” over to Sebastian’s Bistro at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. The food is delicious and packed with flavor. If you enjoy Caribbean-inspired cuisine, you’ll love it. If that’s not your style, that’s totally fine. Then I suggest making your way to Disney’s Boardwalk Resort to enjoy one of their eateries.

If you had to pick one of these food courts to eat from, which one would you choose? Leave your answers in the comment section.
