Lately, I’ve been noticing that our Disney Dogs get a lot of love, but our Disney Cats can sometimes be overlooked. Now, I get it; I’m a dog person myself (don’t tell my cat), but there a many of Disney’s feline friend characters that have become iconic along the way in classic storytelling. Think of the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland and The Aristocats. What about The Shining-style creepiness of Si and Am, the Siamese cats in Lady and the Tramp?

A Purr-Fect Tribute to Disney Cats
50 years ago, we learned that everybody wants to be a cat—and today we’re celebrating The Aristocats and all the other Disney cats who know where it’s at!
Admittedly, I would have liked to see the definition expanded a little further to include more of Disney’s famous cats, like Simba, Mufasa, and Nala from The Lion King, or Raja from Aladdin, but clearly, they were looking to stick to your household domestic cat for this clip.
Seeing these made me wonder who might be the most popular Disney Cat. I think I might say, Marie, the white kitten from The Aristocats, or maybe even Raja from Aladdin if big cats were allowed to compete for the title. What’s your favorite Disney cat of all time?
