OPENING DATE Announced for the NEW Shiki-Sai Restaurant in Disney World

If you love sushi and EPCOT, you’re about to have a field day.

EPCOT

We learned recently that a new restaurant addition would be added to the Japan pavilion at EPCOT — an all-new sushi bar and grill called Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya. We knew that the restaurant would open at some point this summer, but Disney didn’t say exactly when… until now!

Shiki-Sai will open on August 30th for EPCOT guests! Y’all, that is SO SOON, and we couldn’t be more excited.

There still isn’t reservation availability on Disney’s website, but we’ll be on a close lookout to let you know when you can go ahead and snag a spot. We’re also curious to see if they’ll do a soft opening closer to August 30th.

Similarly, there’s also no menu on the website yet. However, we can expect things like Karaage Chicken, Salmon Misoyaki, and Tomato Salad with Avocado for the Izakaya (sharable) plates when the restaurant opens. The spot will also feature an open sushi bar. Here, you’ll find highlights like the Kobore Sushi, the Tokyo Negi Roll, Monster Roll and the Funamori (sushi boat with a presentation of sashimi and sushi). The price range listed says “$$”, which typically indicates that the prices will range from $15 to $34.99.
