REVIEW: Everyone’s Wondering If This Is a Chicken Nugget Milkshake in Disney World…Sadly, It Isn’t. 😆

NEW snacks have arrived in Magic Kingdom for the fall season and we have to tell you about one of them.

Halloween in Magic Kingdom

In case you missed it, it’s fall in Disney World. Yup, we’re talking Halloween decorations in Magic Kingdom, the start of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and all kinds of spooky merchandise. But on top of that, special snacks have arrived for the season and one might just trick your eyes!

Did Disney just create A CHICKEN NUGGET MILKSHAKE?! We hate to break this to you, but no. Sadly, while the Pickle Shake exists at EPCOT, Disney World did NOT make a chicken nugget milkshake for us to try, but your eyes might trick you into thinking that’s what this is!

Is That…A Nugget?!

In reality, this is the NEW Salted Caramel Milk Shake topped with Green Apple Whipped Cream and an Apple Fritter! It’s priced at $8.49 and is available at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies during regular park hours AND Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party from now through November 1st.

Oh, That’s What It Is!

Let’s start with the look. We kinda wish this was a chicken nugget milkshake now because that sounds EPIC, but moving on from that, we do like the presentation of this shake. It has a heavy amount of light green whipped cream on top with that one doughy apple fritter on top that makes it look really fun.

Love the Look

Now, let’s talk about the taste. In some ways, this tastes like biting into a traditional, dipped caramel apple — which is great!

The apple fritter tastes like a thicker, doughier version of Entenmanns pop’ems donuts (and hey, there’s nothing wrong with that sometimes).

The whipped cream has a strong green apple taste to it but is fairly balanced out when paired with the salted caramel part of the shake. All in all, the flavors reminded us of the beginning of fall in the best way possible.

Sadly Not a Fried Chicken

It has a very strong salted caramel flavor too. As a whole, it is a treat with some stronger flavors, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. We could see this being really great for a hot day in the parks or just as a way to celebrate the fall season.

Just be warned — this is VERY sugary, so it might be a good one to share.
