The time has come, y’all! We’re putting on our best Halloween costumes and heading to Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party.
We’re bringing you along with us, too, so you can also enjoy all the entertainment, CANDY, and more. But let’s talk about the snacks because that’s REALLY what’s important, right? We’re eating ALL the party-exclusive snacks, so let’s head on over to Fantasyland to try a villainous Dole Whip treat.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a seasonal after-hours even that requires a separate ticket. In 2023, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party happens on select nights from August 11th through November 1st. Although you can get some spooky treats during the day in Magic Kingdom, the party brings its own special EXCLUSIVE snacks.

Right now, we’re heading to Storybook Treats to grab the Hades Cone.
The Hades Cone is a DOLE Whip mango and habanero soft-serve topped with blue raspberry shell and chili-lime seasoning for $7.23. Yep, this cone is bringing some spicy to the party, just like the villain it’s named after.
Our first impression when we grabbed this treat was that it was so adorable! The colors look really great together and we were really picking up on those Hades vibes. BUT… How will it taste?
If you’re looking for a classic treat with a fresh, new complexity, then this is the treat for you. You’ve got the smooth, bright mango DOLE Whip — which is delicious on it’s own. BUT THEN. It pairs so nicely with the blue raspberry shell on top. It reminded us of biting into a Skittle — the slightly tart bite right before the super sweet filling.
The tajin sprinkled on top cranked everything up a notch. It really gave a satisfying edge to the treat that we enjoyed. The mango combined with the spicy tajin gave us the perfect mix of sweet, tart, and spicy. We will DEFINITELY be grabbing this one again.
There’s more where that treat came from, though! Make sure to check out ALL of the treats available at the party before you go.

Don’t want to pay extra for treats at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party? Don’t worry — you can skip the restaurants and just trick-or-treat around the park instead. The candy is your typical Halloween goodies, but hey — it’s all sugar, right?
