With the cooler breezes aboard the Disney Wonder cruises to Alaska, it’s no wonder that Mickey & Friends have traded their typical garb for these Alaska meet and greet costumes, exclusively seen on Disney Cruise Line, for their Alaska sailings. We recently caught up with the gang, each sporting a style better suited to the great white north.
Mickey Mouse Alaska Meet and Greet Costume
The head mouse himself rocks vibrant yellow fisherman’s gear. His fishing waders, gloves, and traditional fisherman’s rain hat are all classic yellow. He’s pulled on a pair of tall black boots with red toe caps and soles. They have white piping around the top of the boot as well. Underneath his waders, he wears a green and white plaid flannel shirt.
Minnie Mouse
Minnie is ready to weather any cold night in Alaska, in her faux fur-lined ensemble.
From her parka hood down to her toes, her muted earth tones trimmed in fur and red look right at home against the beautiful Alaskan sea and sky.
Her furry boots are a departure from her usual heels.
Daisy Duck
Daisy also is looking very fashionable in her cold weather gear. Her ruffle-edged dress and bow are buffalo plaid, and she’s donned a fur-lined denim jacket and fur-lined booties to help protect her against a chill.
Donald Duck
Donald’s outfit complements Daisy’s, and he looks ready to do some sightseeing at one of the ports with her. He’s paired a navy toboggan and a puffy vest with his buffalo plaid button-up. His brown and black winter gloves and long undershirt complete the look. He’s ready for adventure.
Pluto Alaska Outfit
Pluto even has a special scarf for the occasion to help protect him against the chilly Alaska weather.
The scarf has some flower and berry art incorporated into its design, and a fringe under his chin.
He has it cinched tight around his neck, but he still sports his classic collar and tags underneath (just in case he gets lost).
Goofy’s Lumberjack Costume
We spotted Goofy inside the atrium in a smart-looking lumberjack outfit, complete with ear flap hat, work gloves, and lace-up boots.
Goofy’s Cold Weather Gear Costume
When he was on the deck with his pals, however, he had a second outfit to keep him warm as he explores. This set included a warm fur-trimmed hat and coat, fuzzy gloves, scarf, and a blue backpack to hold all of his gear.
