Lab bacteria, octopus tentacles, moldy bread, bathroom cookies…the list of unappetizing-looking snacks we’ve tried at the Disney parks could go on and on and on! We’ve seen some WEIRD things in Disney World, and in a strange way, we kind of love it when we discover new off-the-wall creations in the parks and resorts. Really — where else can you try something like Oga’s Obsession?!
As you can see, we love to share all the unique treats we find in the parks, so when we decided to order a WEIRD-looking cookie from Magic Kingdom, we simply had to share our experience.
Did someone say cookies?! Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company is no stranger to interesting cookie creations. Remember the infamous S’mores Cookie that reminded us less of a campfire snack and more of a bathroom snack?
Well, now we’re back with another cookie from Joffrey’s — meet the Team Blue Cookie inspired by the nearby TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction in Tomorrowland! First thoughts? We’re getting a strong mold vibe here. Seriously — why is it that weird COLOR?! If you squint your eyes, it looks an awful lot like bacteria…just saying.
OK, OK, enough teasing. We’ve got to be fair to the Joffrey’s cookie and give it an honest try.

The Team Blue Cookie is $4.79 and is a lemon blueberry cookie with blueberries on top and a generous helping of blue food dye. We like lemons, we like blueberries — this could be pretty good!
The verdict? We actually liked it! This cookie is SO soft in the middle and breaks apart quite easily. It looks crunchy on the outside, and the edges are a little hard, but the cookie is nice and soft inside (just the way we like our cookies!). The blueberries add a nice, chewy texture. In terms of flavor, it was pretty blueberry-heavy. In fact, the lemon flavor was pretty mild. We even tasted what we think were some white chocolate chips inside, which added a nice chocolatey touch to this fruity cookie.
While we wish it had a bit more lemon, the flavors here worked together quite well! It’s a tad on the sweet side, so keep that in mind. If you’re put off by excessive food dye, you might want to skip this one, though. We asked our readers on Instagram for their thoughts on this cookie, and the results were pretty split!
So, would YOU try this interesting cookie? In terms of appearance, it’s a little scary, but really, the sweet blueberry flavor won us over. In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
