The show features singing, dancing, and life-size puppets at the following times daily: 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 8:30 p.m PT.
Female dancers wear traditional Mexican ribbon dresses in bright colors and flowers in their hair. Male dancers wear all white with colorful sashes at their waists and bandannas around their necks.
A mariachi band, dressed in black and gold, plays live music during the show. They also have half-skull face paint.
The Storytellers are led by Matteo, a singer in a red and gold mariachi suit and sombrero.
He welcomes guests to the show and quickly recaps details of the “Coco” story.
Before Miguel and his skeletal friends arrive, Matteo leads the dancers and band in performing a few songs from the film, starting with “The World Es Mi Familia.”
Matteo then talks about Ernesto de la Cruz and launches into an upbeat performance of “Remember Me.”
Matteo explains how families celebrate Day of the Dead with an ofrenda and other traditions, continuing the story of “Coco.”
It’s time for Miguel to enter!
Miguel appears as a puppet for this show and for his meet and greet.
Miguel has brought his great-great-grandfather’s guitar as well.
After overcoming his stage fright, Miguel performs “Un Poco Loco.”
The human dancers are joined by skeletons — also large puppets.
As they finish telling the story of “Coco,” the Storytellers perform “Proud Corazón.”
