*NEW* Surfer Boy Vegan Pizza – $9.99
French bread style pizza with vegan sausage crumble, pineapple chutney, jalapeño, and vegan mozzarella
We loved the vegan pizza. The pineapple tasted fresh, and the crust was fluffy.
*NEW* Surfer Boy Hawaiian Pizza – $9.99
French bread style pizza with crispy spam, pineapple chutney, jalapeño, scallions, and mozzarella
We also really enjoyed the regular Hawaiian pizza. Like the vegan option, the pineapple was also quite fresh, and the sauce was rich, but not too heavy or acidic.
The crust was thick and fluffy, with a good amount of cheese.
*NEW* Surfer Boy Cheese Pizza – $8.99
French bread style cheese pizza
Though it had the same fluffy crust as the above pizza, the cheese wasn’t a win for us.
It was dry and didn’t have enough cheese, so it’s not worth the money. But kids who don’t want other toppings will probably like it.
*NEW* Yuri’s Favorite – $5.99
Chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse and Reese’s Pieces
We fell in love with this dessert; it’s our new favorite. And not just our HHN favorite, but one of our favorite theme park desserts ever.
The peanut butter mousse will be in our dreams. It’s smooth and creamy. There is a bit of chocolate cake buried in the mousse and Reese’s Pieces at the bottom. We could eat this all day.
*NEW* Surfer Boy Tropical Dream Punch (non-alcoholic) – $8
orange, pineapple, lime, passion fruit, and grapefruit juice, with vanilla bean and garnished with a pineapple gummy
The non-alcoholic version of this drink tasted like POG juice to us (passion fruit, orange, guava).
*NEW* Surfer Boy Tropical Dream Punch – $16.50 in a souvenir cup, $12.50 for a refill or a 12 oz. single serve
Cruzan Rum, orange, pineapple, lime, passion fruit, and grapefruit juice, with vanilla bean and garnished with a pineapple gummy
The alcoholic version of the Tropical Dream Punch tasted more like orange juice to us than anything else.
We weren’t able to taste the rum in the beverage. This could be good for those who don’t like an alcohol-forward drink, but easy to overdo.
Voodoo Brewing Co. Lacto-Kooler (5.5% ABV) – $12.25
From Voodoo Brewing Co.: “Lacto-Kooler is our flavored Berliner Weisse. We made this sour ale with lots of “green” giving the beer its unique color and flavor.”
Original Sin Crimson Chaos Cider (6% ABV) – $10
From Original Sin: “Crimson Chaos was created by marrying two cherry varieties with a melody of luscious berries. The ruby red and maroon cherries introduce a balance of earthy tartness giving great depth of flavor. The berries create bursts of zest that dance on your tongue and, when combined with the cherries, result in an unforgettable joyous punch to the palate. This fruit forward blend is smooth throughout with a subtly tartness that tingles on the finish.”
Location
Surfer Boy Pizza is located at #5 on the map below, in New York’s Gramercy Park facing the Transformers extended queue.
