If you’re a Disney fan, chances are you have a favorite character — whether they’re from your favorite classic film or maybe even your favorite ride in the parks!

Some people take their love of Disney characters very seriously (Hi, it’s us, we’re “people.”) and we’ve seen some pretty chaotic moments in Disney World because of it. Remember the Figment popcorn bucket fiasco from the 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Arts? Folks queued up in hours-long lines to snag the little guy — and now Figment is BACK causing chaos again.
The Figment meet and greet is officially open in EPCOT! Disney had announced it would be coming quite a while ago, and then, at Destination D23, we learned that Figgy would make his debut on September 10th. But, Figment fans are some of the most die-hard out there, and when we arrived at the Imagination Pavilion to see him — we certainly weren’t the only ones!

EPCOT’s hottest new meet and greet is finally here and it’s got the line to prove it. Check out all the people waiting to meet Figment! Folks were gathered around the fountains outside the Imagination Pavilion, patiently hoping to get a chance to see Figgy after it had been first announced by Disney.

We found our place in the queue and also started patiently waiting. Once we made it inside, it was clear that people were prepared to hang out for a while, as most of the Figgy fans we saw had decided to take a seat. But then, the line started moving and it was on to the next waiting area.

We weren’t kidding when we said that Figment was a pretty popular character with some die-hard fans. When the popcorn bucket debuted, it was in such high demand that at one point the line was an estimated 6.5 hours long. Disney eventually started using a virtual queue for the Figgy bucket, but it’s old-fashioned waiting in line for this meet and greet instead. That could change in the future, but for now, pack your patient pants.
