Yes, you read that correctly, and it is NOT a figment of your imagination. The much-anticipated meet-and-greet for Figment opened to guests Sunday inside ImageWorks in the World Celebration neighborhood of EPCOT, and the wait time was long – up to three, sometimes four hours long from the early morning hours. Social media posts reported massive crowds extending to the outdoor queue with guests waiting in the hot Florida sun.

Somewhat surprisingly, the interaction experience isn’t available for the entire time EPCOT is open. The operating times for Figment’s first day outside of the Sensory Labs were 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Perhaps Disney is easing him in slowly; this is his first time being around so many fans, after all. We hope to eventually see the hours extended to allow the crowds to spread out throughout the day.

This massive wait time will likely be around for a while, so it begs the question, how long would you wait in line to meet the lovable purple dragon?
