We stopped in to sample the newest drink offering at Lamplight Lounge – Boardwalk Dining. We enjoyed the new Butterscotch-Apple Mule, and were glad to stay a spell at the lounge to enjoy it.
Halloween Offerings
- Butterscotch-Apple Mule
- Ghost Pepper Nachos
Butterscotch-Apple Mule – $17
Spiced rum, butterscotch schnapps, apple-spiced simple syrup, lemon juice, and ginger beer (New)
We loved this one. The mule is excellent. There is a hint of butterscotch on the back end. Its flavor is masked somewhat by the bright ginger beer, but it is very refreshing and delicious. We would recommend this one.
Ghost Pepper Nachos – $23
Charred ghost pepper-marinated chicken, smoky ghost pepper cheese sauce, black bean purée, avocado tomatillo salsa, and seasoned tomatoes
These are a returning fan-favorite, and they’ve got a lot of bite to haunt your taste buds. These nachos are extremely spicy. The green light chips were good with the spicy ghost pepper cheese sauce. The chicken, however, was a bit dry, but it also had a spicy kick to it. The beans and salsa verde were a nice addition as well. If you can handle the intense kick of the ghost pepper, you’ll love these nachos, especially if you’re into the spiciness of the ghost pepper.
The Ghost Pepper Nachos were not listed on the menu but we confirmed they are available.
Halloween offerings at Disneyland will be available through November 9. Lamplight Lounge – Boardwalk Dining has mobile dining walkup available.
