When you think of rides that everyone is obsessed with in Disney World, what do you pick?

You may be thinking about Rise of the Resistance, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, or a classic like Jungle Cruise. But when you look at the wait times, there’s a clear frontrunner as the most popular ride in Disney World almost every time — Flight of Passage!

This ride is located in Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and is one of the newest attractions in Disney World. It’s a 3D simulator ride that allows you to fly on the back of a Banshee!

Flight of Passage has the highest average wait time in ALL of Disney World week after week, and this past week is no exception. Avatar is one of the highest-grossing movies of all time and it is a franchise beloved by many fans. The ride is completely immersive and features incredible details like being able to feel the Banshee “breathing”.

We get it — there are many reasons to love this ride. But if you’re looking for some shorter wait times in Disney World, keep scrolling to see this week’s average wait times!

Magic Kingdom

Starting in Magic Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time of 60 minutes. Last week the average wait time was 55 minutes so the average has increased.

Next, Peter Pan’s Flight averaged 54 minutes, Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion averaged 37 minutes, and Space Mountain averaged 36 minutes.  Average wait times held Enchanted Tales with Belle at 26 minutes, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 25 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 24 minutes, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 22 minutes, followed by Astro Orbiter at 19 minutes.

After that, Tomorrowland Speedway averaged 15 minutes, Mickey’s PhilharMagic and “it’s a small world” at 14 minutes, closely followed by Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini and Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 12 minutes. Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover averaged 11 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin averaged 10 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant averaged 10 minutes, and Mad Tea Party averaged 9 minutes.

Prince Charming Regal Carrousel averaged 7 minutes and other attractions like Enchanted Tiki Room, Hall of Presidents, Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, Carousel of Progress, and Liberty Square Riverboat all tied at 5-minute average wait times.

The Country Bear Jamboree and Tom Sawyer Island were walk-ons this week.

This Is the BEST TIME to Ride Every Ride in Magic Kingdom — But You’re Not Gonna Like It

EPCOT

Heading over to EPCOT, Frozen Ever After has the spot for the longest wait time in the park with a 63-minute average. This is a slight decrease from last week’s 64-minute average. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure was the next highest with a 56-minute average which has increased since last week.

Next up is Test Track at 50 minutes, Soarin’ at 32 minutes, Turtle Talk with Crush and Mission: SPACE at 15 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 14 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 12 minutes, and The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 11 minutes.

Then, Gran Fiesta Tour averaged 10 minutes and Living with the Land also averaged 10 minutes.

Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China had no wait times this week.

It’s Official. Soarin’ Around the World Has CHANGED in EPCOT

Hollywood Studios

This week, Slinky Dog Dash saw a big increase this week from 63 minutes to 71 minutes on average. This is the longest wait time in the park. Rise of the Resistance is next in this park with 64 minutes which is an increase from last week.

Other wait times in the park increased this week including Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at 49 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway and Toy Story Mania at 48 minutes, Tower of Terror at 40 minutes, and Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run at 42 minutes.

After that, Alien Swirling Saucers averaged 23 minutes, Walt Disney Presents averaged 18 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy averaged 10 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D averaged 10 minutes, and Star Tours — The Adventure Continues averaged only 9 minutes.

Animal Kingdom

Now, let’s head over to Animal Kingdom! Avatar Flight of Passage still had the longest average wait time in all of Disney World this week with 77 minutes.

Following that, Na’vi River Journey at 61 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 24 minutes, Kali River Rapids at 21 minutes, Expedition Everest at 19 minutes, and DINOSAUR at 17 minutes.

It’s Tough to Be a Bug averaged 10 minutes and Triceratop Spin averaged 6 minutes. Both The Boneyard and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail were walk-ons.
