FULL Room Tour Of The NEW Little Mermaid Rooms at Disney World

Disney World hotels are changing!

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is getting whole new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) villas. Meanwhile, both Disney’s Beach Club and BoardWalk Inn Resorts are getting new rooms. We previously told you that Disney’s Caribbean Beach was getting new rooms, too, and we’re going to take you on a full tour of those rooms RIGHT NOW.

The new rooms at Caribbean Beach are designed around a Little Mermaid theme, which means we were super excited to finally get to see them. We did get a sneak peek in late 2022, but we’re going to show you EVERYTHING in the new “Under The Sea” rooms. So let’s go!

The color scheme is VERY sea-like, but it also still maintains a sort of tropical feel. We’re talking whites, sea greens, and light blues with pops of light yellows and oranges.

The new room!

The main bed is your standard comfy Disney bed with yellow accents.

The bed

You want pillows? You’ll get LOTS of them (we do like that Disney does NOT skimp on the pillows).

LOADS of pillows

There’s a little table with outlets to the right of the bed.

Across from the bed is where you’ll find your dresser and TV, as well as coffee-making supplies.

Across from the bed

The remote and an informational brochure are on the top of the dresser.

The coffee maker, cream, sugar, tea, and more, are tucked in the corner where the dresser meets the wall. The artwork behind it is SO adorable.

Coffee-making supplies

You’ll find that seahorse motif throughout.

Seahorse!

Above that is a small shelving unit that includes your ice bucket. There’s more fun artwork behind the shelf.

Ice bucket and more seahorses!

Below the coffee maker, you’ll find a cabinet with a safe…

…and a trash/recycling bin.

A mini fridge is hiding underneath the next cabinet over.

There’s an empty drawer for storage above that.

The thermostat is on the wall nearest the coffee-making supplies.

Next to the dresser is what seems to be more places to store stuff.

More storage?

However, the top part of this unit pulls down into a smaller twin-sized bed!

It’s a bed!

Above the bed is some more gorgeous Under the Sea artwork. Look at it! The fishies are SLEEPING. Sebastian is in the middle getting some shuteye.

You’ll be sleeping with the fishes

There’s a sofa with a footstool on the other side of the room.

Sofa and footstool

Look at how nifty this footstool is — it also opens up for storage.

It opens up!

The artwork above it really does capture the spirit of The Little Mermaid.

We love the Under the Sea art

Pull down on those bars and you get another bed. This is similar to the pull-down beds you’ll find at Disney World’s value resorts. It’s a great use of space!

ANOTHER bed

You’ll find more artwork of sleeping fishes above this bed.

Everyone will be sleeping with the fishes

The table beside this bed is where you’ll find the phone. We’d also like to point out that the room has lots of outlets, including USB outlets.

Phone and outlets!

The table has a drawer and another space for storing your stuff.

The table

There’s a reading light above the table.

Look at these charming room curtains. We love the tropical flower pattern on them.

Cute curtains

If you open them, there’s a sheer panel behind them.

The window is next to the door.

The door

You’ll find a mirror by the window, too, on the parallel wall.

In the bathroom, you’ll find two sinks and a mirror.

Bathroom

The colors here are like a natural wood color.

Bathroom

You’ll be supplied with those wonderful H20 amenities.

Gotta’ love that H20

You’ll find plenty of hand towels and washcloths underneath the sink area.

Everything you need

There’s even a step stool for your little ones.

Oh, hey, there’s a Hidden Mickey!

MICKEY!

There’s a drawer for storage on the bottom right.

Lots of drawers

If you like using a magnifying mirror for makeup or shaving, they’ve got you covered.

To the right of the sinks are some shelves — these rooms have a lot of great spaces for organization and storage.

Shelves

The blow dryer will be on the bottom shelf, just in case you need it.

Opposite that little storage area is a closet.

The closet

An extra pillow and blanket are on the top shelf. There are plenty of hangers for those items you wish to hang up during your stay.

An iron is in the bottom of the closet, and there’s a space to the left of that with an ironing board.

Iron and ironing board

The shower and toilet are in their own separate room.

Shower and toilet

You’ll find plenty of towels available.

More towels!

We are in LOVE with the art above the toilet. It’s Sebastian and Flounder!

The shower has glass doors. There is also a tub.

Inside the shower, you’ll find more of those H20 amenities in refillable shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles.

More H20 Amenities

So there you have it, that’s what the new rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort look like. We’ll keep an eye out for more Disney World updates, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
