This Will Be the Happiest Thing You Read on the Internet Today

This is almost guaranteed to be the happiest and cutest thing you read on the internet today. It’s a post about cute baby animals!

Disney World animals have to eat, too!

Disney hosts animals in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Tri-Circle-D Ranch, and EPCOT (at The Seas Pavilion). They are bound to have a few baby animals for us to check out.  This year was not a disappointment for the animal lovers at Disney!

Across Walt Disney World Resort, Cast Members care for over 5,000 animals. Disney just announced that, in 2023 alone, the parks welcomed 300 new baby animals in 2023!

Disney works to help with the repopulation of endangered species. With less than 7,500 Cotton-Top Tamarin left in the wild, the birth of the twin Tamarins not only doubled Animal Kingdom’s population but Disney’s Partnership with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (ASA) assisted the Species Survival Plan by creating a more diverse breeding pool to help increase their population. Look at those tiny little babies!

If you want to check out these adorable babies, you can catch them on Discovery Island at Animal Kingdom.  They may be tiny, but we think adorable things come in small packages!

In June, Animal Kingdom welcomed Cricket and Dot — two Hartmann’s mountain zebra foals.

They are now playing on the Savanna on Kilimanjaro Safaris.  Each has a unique stripe pattern to help tell them apart, but I think we will have to ride a few times to make sure we really get a close look!

In August an adorable baby Mandrill, Saffron, was born on the savanna and is already out greeting guests on Kilimanjaro Safaris.

She might not be ready to pull Cinderella’s Carriage yet, but the newest Shetland Pony, Pixie, was born in July and is just as cute as you would imagine!

She is settling into her home at Tri-Circle-D Ranch, and if you are at Fort Wilderness Resort we would recommend making a stop to see if she is out!  If not, there are always adorable horses ready to greet you!

As always, we will keep you up to date on all the Disney news to make sure you do not miss anything!
