Be Prepared for This Unexpected Disney Restaurant PROBLEM on Your Next Trip!

The Disney Parks are an exciting place, that’s for sure.

While all the thrills, snacks, shopping, and shows can be exciting, we’re here to talk about a different kind of excitement today. 😬 Sometimes, the not-so-magical happens in the parks, and we watch it all happen. When we’re not there to see it happen, our lovely readers send us photos and information so that we can share it with you all. That’s what happened over the weekend when a FIRE ALARM went off in a Disney Park!

On Saturday, folks were enjoying lunch at Tiana’s Palace Restaurant in Disneyland when an alarm sounded — indicating that there was a fire. Multiple restaurants were then evacuated. Tiana’s Palace, Blue Bayou, and Club 33 were all affected. Shoutout to reader Leslie P. for the photos and great information!

It was reportedly unclear whether the alarm was a drill, false alarm, or a legitimate incident. It isn’t rare for this to happen, and if it happens when you visit a Disney restaurant, remember to stay calm and that the restaurant and Cast Members are trained to handle instances such as this. Cast Members refer to fires as a “Signal 25,” so if you ever hear that phrase used, it could mean that there is a fire, even if you don’t hear any audible alarms.

In the parks, the fire alarms could go off for a number of reasons — from someone bumping into the alarm on the wall, someone accidentally hitting one of the sprinklers on the ceiling (it happens, trust us), to excess steam in the kitchen.

Wow! This seems like a very eventful lunch to say the least. Thankfully, there haven’t been any reported damages or injuries that we know of. We’ll continue to keep you all updated with more Disney news as we have it, so make sure to follow along for more so that you never miss a thing.
