Disney World Wait Times Are CHANGING…and You’re Gonna Love It

It’s been another week full of Disney news!

EPCOT

Disney released a ton of information about EPCOT Festival of the Holidays including the food booths, the entertainment, celebrity narrators for the Candelight Processional, dining packages, the return of the cookie stroll, and more. Also Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana has soft opened as well as the Moana meet and greet! Even though the Disney news has been busy, the parks seem to have calmed down when it comes to wait times.

This week, the wait times have gone down overall, but there are still some long lines you may want to skip. One way to skip the long lines at certain attractions is rope dropping or staying until park close. Rope dropping is when you arrive at the park before opening time so you are one of the first people in the parks for the day. During this time, you can get on a ride or two without much of a wait! We’ve also noticed that wait times dip near the end of the night.

The other thing you can do is purchase Genie+, Disney’s skip-the-line system. The price of Genie+ depends on the day since Disney introduced flexible pricing earlier this year, but we’ve seen the price starts at $15 per person per day. Buying Genie+ will allow you to expedite your wait for many Disney World attractions! It’s not right for everyone, but you can use the wait time data below to decide if it is for YOU.
